List of Green and Low-Carbon Processes in the Pesticide Industry (2025)

Wynca Group was founded in 1965 and came on the market in 2001, possessing 76 holding subsidiaries and more than 6,300 employees. Wynca is mainly engaged in three industries: crop protection, silicon-based new materials and new energy materials. The crop protection industry has formed an integrated development model of "intermediate - original drug - preparation", covering seeds and seedlings, herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, crop nutrition and other products, providing comprehensive solutions to ensure food security and help increase yields and incomes. Silicon-based new materials have a complete industrial chain from mining and smelting upstream silicon, organic silicon monomer synthesis and manufacturing downstream products, which are widely used in electric power communication, rail transportation and automobile, medical and health care, consumer electronics and other fields in more than 130 countries and regions worldwide. Based on the strengths of the phosphorus-based and silicon-based industries, New Energy Materials has built comprehensive material solutions around new energy application scenarios, building a new "three-legged" development pattern with the other two industries.

Climate Actions

During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, Wynca made positive progress in the low-carbon transformation of its industrial and product structures, significantly improving energy resource utilization efficiency. The carbon management system and incentive mechanisms were preliminarily established, and the Energy Dual-Carbon Digital Cloud Platform was initially built. By 2025, Wynca plans to reduce energy consumption per unit of industrial output value by more than 15% compared to 2020, and reduce carbon emissions per unit of industrial output value by more than 20% compared to 2020. During the 15th Five-Year Plan period, Wynca will further optimize its industrial and product structures. The energy consumption per unit product of glyphosate and organic silicon monomer will reach international advanced levels, while the energy consumption per unit product of industrial silicon will reach domestic advanced levels. Energy consumption per unit of industrial added value and carbon emission intensity will continue to decrease, and significant progress will be made in the green and low-carbon transformation. Wynca will ensure that its carbon emissions peak before 2030.

Climate Milestone

  • 2023

    - Wynca actively carries out greenhouse gas carbon emission verification and compliance. In the first quarter of 2023, Wynca completed the preparation of the 2022 greenhouse gas emission report (for the power generation and chemical industries) and successfully passed the third-party verification organized by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment.

    - Wynca conducts product carbon footprint analysis, vigorously promotes low-carbon emission technologies, and drives "carbon label" certification.

    - Wynca has incorporated green supply chain management into its green and low-carbon development strategic plan, implementing a green partnership supplier management system and building a green supply chain information management platform.

    - Wynca has formulated an energy-saving and carbon-reduction blueprint for the company, actively carrying out technological upgrades, waste treatment, and energy-saving emission-reduction efforts. The company deepens the "Chlorine-Phosphorus-Silicon" circular economy development model and aims to create a clean, low-carbon, safe, and efficient industrial system, with utilization rates of the three major elements exceeding 95%.

    - Wynca prioritizes partners with high logistics efficiency and low-carbon transportation models to establish a green and low-carbon transportation logistics system.
